The Royal Tour. Leaving from Sequim and Port Angeles. A complete tour by bus,
from the Olympic Peninsula to Victoria and Butchart Gardens. Our bus picks
up at most hotels, motels and RV sites in the Sequim-Port Angeles area
of the Olympic Peninsula. We have a general meeting place in Sequim at
the Sequim West Inn, where people driving up from areas such as Bremerton,
Kingston, Port Townsend and Discovery Bay can join our tour and park their
vehicle free of charge.
You may also join us at the Port Angeles ferry dock. The bus boards the Motor Vessel Coho in Port Angeles for an 8:20 AM departure, arriving in Victoria at 10:00 AM. Upon arrival in Victoria's picturesque Inner Harbour, we proceed immediately to the Butchart Gardens followed by a deluxe tour of Victoria. The Victoria tour includes a drive through the campus of the University Of Victoria, and a panoramic view of Victoria and surrounding area from atop of Mt. Tolmie. We include a drive through the exclusive housing area of the Up-Lands and follow the waterfront to Beacon Hill Park and then into downtown Victoria including Chinatown and Victoria's old town. We complete our tour around 2:45 PM, downtown in the Inner Harbour area in front of the Fairmont Empress Hotel leaving you with about 3 ½ hours of free time. Here, you are in the heart of Victoria's attractions and shopping, within easy walking distance to the internationally renowned Royal British Columbia Museum, The Fairmont Empress Hotel, The Parliament Buildings and many other quaint points of interest. Our bus boards
the ferry for a 7:30 PM departure from Victoria returning you
to the Olympic Peninsula and your starting point. We also have an
optional 3 PM early departure from Victoria. |
